Inspiring, Informing & Connecting
Some people value Horizons Unlimited events for what they learn from the unique line-up of presenters. Some people value the chance to discover new products and services at the trade stands. Some people value just kicking back with a beer among old friends and new.
Most people enjoy a little bit of everything, and everyone goes home fired-up for adventure with a smile on their face.

The event will include a packed schedule of presentations and activities. All within the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that Horizons Unlimited is known for.

Workshops and Tech Sessions below![]() | Baatar NaavanCulture and Connections |
With a calm attitude and full-of-energy core, BAATAR NAAVAN has been involved in projects to boost and share nomadic culture since the early 1990s. He is very knowledgeable of all aspects of a nomad's lifestyle and Mongolia's history, as well as deeply familiar with horse riding and leading expeditions. He has traveled all over Asia and Europe, focusing on learning the social and cultural aspects of the destinations along the way. He is eager to share what he has learned from his direct and deep interactions with small communities all over the world. His presentations are made on the basis of the History of Motorcycle in Mongolia: "How Nomads Ride".
![]() | Natalia Muñoz, MotosoulsReality vs. Fiction: A Matter of Facts |
Originally from Chile, Natalia always had the dream of exploring the whole world and learning from all different cultures. Living on-the-road, she has witnessed the world over the last several years. Natalia will inspire you with insights about "Reality vs. Fiction" and making sense of your perceptions. She will also share relevant information about how to get/register a motorcycle in different continents and several tips for border crossings in north, central and southern Asia, the Americas, and eastern Europe.
Plenty of reflection, culture clashes, and hard-hitting realities along the way encouraged her to keep seeking out more experiences. She believes that improvisation and simplicity give special touches to all adventures. As a solo traveler for most part of her trip, Natalia had to face all kinds of obstacles by sticking to her ethos of "Keep Calm and Be smart" to avoid freaking out and maximize enjoyment along the way.
NATALIA MUÑOZ has traveld by motorcycle to over 55 countries since the beginning of her Non-Stop World Tour in 2015. In total, she has ridden 90,000 km and is always on the lookout for small trails and hidden routes.
Tech Sessions and Workshops
Because Horizons Unlimited meetings are also about informing, not just inspiring!
![]() | Chinzo Chuluunbaatar, Drive MongoliaRiding in Extreme Conditions: Cold, Storms, Ice |
This is a technical workshop to prepare for riding in extreme conditions. Luckily, you get to learn this during August! Chinzo shares what he learned from traveling to Siberia, along the Silk Road, and on other trips that mere mortals would consider as epic adventures, but he thinks of them as "weekend jaunts". His extenstive knowledge of the nomadic culture and lifestyle adds wisdom to the mental preparation aspect, too. After this session, you, too, might venture out to explore the best of Mongolia.
CHINZO CHULUUNBAATAR is super-experienced in riding motorcycles and driving 4WDs. His life must definitely become a movie some day, but he's a humble soul who feels strongly about and remains involved in preserving the ancient legacies of nomadism in its purest form. Fluent in Russian, English, and Mongolian, Chinzo is a connector among three different worlds to enhance diversity and break down cross-cultural walls.
